What is khata software?

It is a digital udhaar ledger: every customer's credit sales, payments and advances in one place, with a running balance and a statement. In BlueSale it is joined to the POS, so a credit sale also updates stock.

Can I move my old khata across?

Yes. Add each customer with their opening balance from the last page of the book. From that day, new sales and payments continue the same ledger.

Can the helper take a payment if I am not in the shop?

Yes. Anyone you give access can record a payment against a customer and see the new balance. Roles control who can also change prices or delete records.

Does it handle supplier khata as well?

Yes. Purchases on credit and payments to distributors keep a payable balance per supplier, so you know what you owe as well as what you are owed.

Can I send the balance on WhatsApp?

Yes. Share a bill or a baqaya reminder from the customer record. The amount comes from the ledger, so you are not typing it by hand.
